Larousse editorial gave us the challenge to create an online version of the famous encyclopedia, Pequeño Larousse Ilustrado. We created a a system to allow Larousse to manage the contents of both print and web via a unified back-office.

Built around APIs and a custom search engine

In order to focus the user's attention on the search functionality, we removed the top menu from the page. The search functionlity is completely consomisable via the backoffice.

Apache Solr Implementation

The Solr search engine allows content to be added, updated and re-indexed in real time.

Content administration

The custom-designed back-office allows encyclopedia content, including related illustrations and maps.
